Summary The Kiener Plaza event will mark the official start of air quality forecasting in the St. Louis metropolitan area for the 2008 summer season and offer downtown St. Louis employees convenient access to free information on how they can go green and do their share for cleaner air. The event will feature live music, free bottled water, Ted Drewes frozen custard courtesy of the American Lung Association and more than 14 exhibitors offering information on their programs and tools to help people get involved in improving the region's air quality. These vendors will be equipped to provide free, helpful advice to attendees, including information on carpooling opportunities, mass transit, health effects of air pollution and tips for reducing energy use at home.
