Summary |
The date for the Downtown Children's Center (DCC) annual fundraiser, Art in Motion, has been set for May 16th, 2008. The showcase of the event features several local artists creating pieces of art during the evening. These pieces will be auctioned off live at the end of the night. Tickets also include dinner and a large silent auction. The proceeds from Art in Motion benefit the DCC scholarship and equipment funds. |

DCC was established as a 501c3 non-profit organization in 1978 and is dedicated to serving the early childhood needs of parents who live and/or work in downtown St. Louis. DCC is a nationally accredited, non-sectarian childcare center, believed to be among the first in the nation to represent an alliance of businesses, childcare professionals and working parents in a unique cooperative effort to provide quality child care near the workplace. The center has enjoyed much publicity locally, nationally and internationally for its innovative approach to providing childcare services.
