Getting Around
Getting around Downtown St. Louis is easy. The streets are laid out on a simple grid system. For major roads, the numbered streets run north/south and named streets running east/west. (Except for 5th St. which is Broadway and 12th St. which is Tucker Blvd.) Numbered streets start at the Riverfront. The numbers go up as you go further west. Market St. is the dividing line between north and south addresses. All address numbers on east/west streets correspond to the numbered cross street. All address numbers on north/south streets correspond to the number of blocks north or south of Market Street.
Public transit and a multitude of parking lots and garages make visiting, living and doing business downtown convenient.
