Downtown "Trolleys" Unveiled
The Downtown St. Louis Community Improvement District has partnered with Metro and the St. Louis CVC to update the former MetroBus #99 Downtown Circulator with a whimsical, more attractive wrap and discounted fare structure. With the purchase of an all-day pass, customers can get on and off the shuttle all day long at any of the stops for the discounted fare of $2 for adults and $1 for children. The trolleys also accept Metro passes and transfers. Tickets can be purchased on the trolleys or at the MetroRide Center in America's Center at 7th Street and Washington Avenue. The new downtown trolley service will operate from 5:30 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to midnight on Saturday. Service will reach each stop every 10 minutes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, and every 20 minutes the rest of the time. To download route information, click here.

Celebrate St. Louis Summer Concerts
The Celebrate St. Louis Summer Concert series, formerly named Live on the Levee, will be three straight weekends of great music free and open to all. The NEW LOCATION is Soldiers Memorial and Common kicks off the series this Friday night and Slightly Stoopid will take the stage on Saturday! Sauce Café also returns featuring a three-course meal prepared by Lucas Park Grille this Saturday night. Reservations are $30 per person, not including beverage, tax and gratuity. Downtown's Parties on the Plaza
Parties on the Plaza, the FREE outdoor after work party featuring live entertainment, food and drink, continues Wednesday, July 21st with the sounds of UG Project. The party is being held at the Post Office Plaza (8th & Locust) from 5-8 pm. Over/Under Bar will be on hand to supply light hors d'oeuvres and prize packages will be given away at the event as well. The fun continues the 3rd Wednesday of each month through September and features a variety of artists. To see the lineup, click here.

Downtown Farmers Market
Get your fresh produce, locally grown and produced fruits, vegetables, meats, baked goods and now fresh baked pizzas, beer, brats and hot dogs at the Downtown Farmers Market! Downtown Restaurant Week
Save-the-Date for this year’s opportunity to experience a new restaurant or revisit a favorite at the 6th Annual Downtown Restaurant Week, August 23-28. Over 30 of downtown's finest dining establishments will offer a special three-course dinner promotion for a fixed price of $25 per person, plus tax and tip. There are no passes to buy, coupons to carry or cards to punch. Patrons simply attend the participating restaurant of their choice and mention the Downtown Restaurant Week promotion. Last year's event attracted more than 19,000 diners. After July 19th you can visit www.downtownrestaurantweek.net to see participating restaurants and menu choices.

Citygarden Celebrates 1st Birthday
The highly popular Citygarden, an Urban Oasis, is celebrating its first birthday with a pink Flamingo Parade and Costume Contest! From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 10, the public is invited to dress up and come to the garden’s celebration of all things PINK. Activities for the day include a parade of those dressed in costumes (at 2:30), live music by the world-famous Flamingo Marching Band, the Major Pink Awards costume contest, a Video Wall "homage" to our beloved flamingos, and a dramatic reading of the mysterious tale of how the Pink Flamingos landed at Citygarden. The Downtown St. Louis Community Improvement District (CID) has produced a Downtown Events Calendar, featuring all the major events happening in Downtown St. Louis. This mid-year, pocket-size publication includes Downtown events from June – October. Become a "Friend of Downtown"
Individuals often ask: "How can I contribute to Downtown's revitalization?" To answer that call, the Partnership presents its Friends of Downtown program – a Downtown affinity program for individuals offering the best of downtown to supporters across the region. The new program was launched at our Annual Meeting last week, and we've had dozens of Friends sign up since then to show their support for Downtown. The Friends of Downtown program provides a fantastic collection of special event tickets/perks, dining offers, shopping and lodging discounts, added value features and more…all designed to help you enjoy the Downtown you love even more. The Post Office Plaza located at 8th & Locust Streets is the site of many of the Downtown CID events. Arch Rivalry
