| Downtown Home Tour |
From a small, contemporary studio to an exquisite three story penthouse, get an inside look at a dozen real downtown homes at this year’s Downtown Home Tour on Saturday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The featured homes vary in design styles – furnishings, finishes, art and accessories – and will highlight the wide range of housing options available in Downtown St. Louis. Attendees will see the homes of an artist, a banker, a young family, singles, a baby boomer couple and local business owners. St. Louis Blues hockey owner, Dave Checketts, has agreed to open up his 5,000 square foot home at Pointe 400 as part of the Tour. As a special bonus, this year’s tour also includes the landmark Campbell House, a beautiful 1851 landmark that now stands as one of the most accurately restored historic homes in America. The Campbell House depicts the high-Victorian opulence of the former Lucas Place, one of St. Louis’ premier 19th century neighborhoods. Registration will be at the Old Post Office Plaza at 815 Locust and advance tickets cost $12. For more information and to register online for the Home Tour, click here. |
